As research faculty at Michigan Tech University, Adrienne Keller studies fundamental ecosystem processes and how land management affects ecosystem functioning. Much of her work focuses on carbon cycling and understanding how management can support climate mitigation and adaptation goals. Adrienne’s work involves both primary research and providing technical support and training to natural resource professionals related to carbon management and climate adaptation.
Adrienne received a MS in Resource Conservation at the University of Montana and a PhD in Biology at Indiana University. Her research has spanned multiple systems (forest, savanna, grassland, wetland, agricultural, and urban systems) and scales (lab incubation to greenhouse and field studies to regional and global data syntheses).
