As a Forest Adaptation Specialist and a Fellow with the Northern Forests Climate Hub, Samantha supports regional managers in New England and northern New York in developing climate-informed management plans and adaptation projects to respond to climate challenges through regional trainings and workshops. She also serves as a regional point of contact for activities related to climate adaptation and carbon management in regional forest ecosystems.
As staff in the Rubenstein School of Natural Resources and the Environment at the University of Vermont, and the Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science (NIACS), Samantha works to build partnerships between managers and scientists in the region to evaluate and synthesize outcomes of climate adaptation strategies across northeastern forests.
